Fred made these catapults for the grandkids for Christmas. Obviously we needed ammo that would be okay to use indoors, because like everything else Fred does, these siege machines were done RIGHT and are quite powerful. I made little balls of wool roving knotted into pantyhose and stuck them into the washer and dryer to felt them for the indoor-ammo. They work great!

Try marshmallows for ammo. That's what my daughter and son-in-law used at their medieval-themed wedding to shoot at the wedding guests with a miniature trebuchet. Worked great, doesn't hurt and edible too!
